Open Channel Flow
Monitor waterways containing industrial effluent or agricultural runoff. Alert to dangerous overflows or mitigate stormwater during floods.
ToughSonic®-200 ultrasonic sensors are an economical solution for liquid level measurement of acids, bases, and chemical tanks. The chemical-resistant transmitters include heavy-duty electronics and a ruggedized piezoelectric transducer housed in a rugged polyvinylidene fluoride (Kynar®) enclosure.
The TS-200 series measures a variety of volatile and non-volatile liquids: diesel and oils in fuel storage tanks, chemicals utilized in the paper and food processing industries, agrichemicals used on fields, and benign liquid level applications.
ToughSonic chemical sensors also provide the same reliable functionality of their general-purpose counterparts: distance ranging, flood monitoring, proximity detection, and pump and valve automation, even in the harshest industrial environments.
TS-200 ultrasonics sensors are built for dependability and long-term chemical exposure with PVDF housings, heavy-duty electronics, and isolated transducers.
TS-200.20 ensures precise, non-contact level measurement of acids, bases, fuels, cleaning agents, and other volatile liquids used during processing.
Chemical-resistant sensors also offer reliable industrial control in object detection, printing, vehicle proximity, and pump or valve automation applications.
TS-200.20 ultrasonic sensors offer an expanded range of measurement to fit additional tank configurations and environmental monitoring applications.
Open Channel Flow
Monitor waterways containing industrial effluent or agricultural runoff. Alert to dangerous overflows or mitigate stormwater during floods.
Chemical Inventory Monitoring
Continuously measure liquid inventory levels of chemicals stored in tanks, portable storage containers, or agriculture machinery sprayers.
Tank Level Automation
Connect ultrasonic sensors with industrial pump controls or ON/OFF switches. Automate filling or emptying of process tanks and storage vessels.
ToughSonic-200 sensors include serial data, three analog outputs, and two switches for ease of sensor and system connectivity.
RS-232 or RS-485 Format
RS-485 Serial Data Interface
Multiple Outputs for Peak Connectivity
Pair ToughSonic ultrasonic sensors with BinCloud® inventory monitoring software for advanced data insights, historical reports, usage forecasts, and so much more.
BinCloud enables liquid level visibility from a phone, tablet, or PC. Access real-time tank levels and view water monitoring stations during droughts or flash floods.
Meet SensorView™, Senix's proprietary software for ultrasonic sensor configuration and comprehensive data analysis.
The PC-based SensorView platform is included FREE with the purchase of every ToughSonic ultrasonic sensor. Fine-tune over 80 sensor settings to best fit each sensor to your application.
General-purpose and chemical-resistant ToughSonic sensors easily connect to SensorView software via a serial data port.
This enables ultrasonic configuration without having to remove the sensor from its vessel, bracket, or tank.
SensorView keeps workers protected from chemical exposure and eliminates the need to navigate remote, potentially hazardous locations to make adjustments.
Chemical Pulping
Measure reactants and aqueous chemicals used during treatment and processing in the wood, pulp, and paper industries.
Sanitary Manufacturing
Manage food-grade additive inventory, including bleaching agents, preservatives, citric acids, flavorings, and dyes.
Chemical Processing
Continuously monitor levels in bulk storage tanks, industrial bulk containers, or chemical drums. Real-time tracking during fast-paced processing.
Open-Air Measurement
TS-200 sensors brave severe weather and temperature extremes to deliver consistently accurate environmental measurements.
Plastic Resin Inventory
Measure and manage liquid resins at one location or across multi-site plastics operations: plasticizers, epoxies, silicones, and polyurethanes.
Sewer Monitoring
Short-to-mid-range monitoring of wastewater levels within sewer systems to prevent overflows and blockages or activate pumps.
